Wiesbaden City Festival
September 24 - 27, 2015
During the Wiesbaden City Festival there will be a diverse daily program of colorful and interesting events on Wiesbaden's most picturesque squares.
The many and free items on the agenda range from theatre, music and art to fashion and pleasure up to cars and sport.
As every year, a highlight of this festival will be the appearance of a famous band at the Dern’sches Gelände on Friday evening.
The shops on Wilhelmstraße and the surroundings show their latest fashions, products and services.
As a special, players from the premiere league of the volleyball- and American-football teams will be presenting the fashion themselves.
The Wiesbaden Fall Market takes place on Mauritius Square and pedestrian area.
Around 90 stands will tempt visitors with a colorful selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables as well as homemade jams, sausages and wines and high-quality craftwork products.
One of the highlights of this year's City Festival will be the Wiesbaden automobile exhibition on the Schlossplatz in front of the Town Hall.
A Thanksgiving festival will take place at “Warmer Damm” on Wilhelmstrasse on Saturday and Sunday.
And, last but perhaps not least, Wiesbaden shops in the vicinity of the City Festival will be open for business on Sunday September 25.

The Autumn Market is taking place in 2015 from September 25th to 27th on the Mauritius Square in the City of Wiesbaden.
The combination of autumn decorated stands, artisan and the shopping in the city centre is the result of a high standard. There will be more than 50 stands with a different range of products e.g. seasonal fruits and vegetables like apples and pumpkins, handmade jam, sausages and wine etc. Predominantly you will find handcraft products e.g. jewellery, pictures, glasses, leather, silk painting, metal work and ceramic works. Feel free to get some food on the crepes stands and luncheonettes. Our exhibitors will be pleased to regale you while you are enjoying your day in the city centre of Wiesbaden.
On all three days there will be a program for the children and their families like a puppeteer, walk acts, and a huge roll slide where children could slide down in little boxes.
The Market will be open Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The 27th Harvest Festival of the Wiesbadener agriculturalists and the Office for Green Areas, Agriculture and Forestry will be celebrated on the green part of the Warmer Damm on Wilhelmstraße on September 26th to 27th, 2015. There will be a farmers' market on both days at which producers of agricultural goods and associations will be presenting themselves, and exhibiting and selling fresh produce from the fields and the garden. In addition to musical entertainment, useful information from the areas of agriculture and crafts will be on offer.
Demonstrating the craftsmanship of former times is a tradition at the Harvest Festival, and so basket makers, coopers, shepherds and pottery makers will be giving visitors a glimpse of how they work. Children will have a real treat because there is a lot on offer on the children's farm stroking the sheep and cattle, climbing on the straw bale mountain, cutting tree grates with the pit saw or on coach rides through the park. Small competitions and a quiz also invite you to take part. The foresters from the city forest and the Wiesbadener Waldjugend will also be contributing to the fun with throwing games with prizes for those with very good aim.
More than 20 automotive dealers from the region present their new cars on the square between the Hessian State Parliament and the Town Hall. Both families and singels can find what they want here, from a smart convertible to a spacious van – and a few other cars in between. The attractive supporting programme provides entertainment, variety and action for both adults and children.
